If you have weird symbols and letters when you open a CSV export file in Microsoft Excel 2007, it is probably due to your Excel settings.
Our CSV export files are encoded in UTF-8.
To open a CSV export file follow these steps:
Open Microsoft Excel 2007
Click on the "Data" menu
Click on "From Text/CSV"
Navigate to the location of the file that you want to import on your computer. Click on the filename and then click on the Import button.
Choose « 65001: Unicode (UTF-8) » from the "File Origin" drop-down
Click on the "Load" button
